Pleased to announce that from this point on NYSoul is back in the vinyl game. We will be pressing up our latest release and this will be dropping on June 8th 2009. Firstly we would like to say thanks to all those that supported the Flowrider’s release, very much appreciated. Our new release is on its way and should be hitting the shelves late February. Tracklisting will be confirmed asap and will be posted up here.  Needless to say it’s another killer – big vocal, with some amazing remixers onboard.

Flowriders – Russelology (The House Mixes) will be released in mid-October 2008.

Our new release is due early September and we are expecting big things from this one. We needed some serious heat to follow up the slamming “Broken Dreams” release, so we hired the some of our favourite producers to add their remix skills to one of our favourite tracks from the last year. The track is called Russelology and was created by Amsterdam’s Flowriders. You may have heard it as it was a Co Op anthem and hammered by the broken / afro players.

I will post more info about Flowriders on this blog very soon, but trust me when I say they are one of the most talented groups out there. Big respect to my main man Vincent Flowrider – a real music man.

Originally released on Mr Bongo Records we thought it may benefit from a house treatment, so we got going on it and now are pleased to inform readers of this blog that the house mixes are coming courtesy of Mr Phil Asher (no blurb needed), Aprhodisiax ft. Kaidi Tatham (they nailed it on Broken Dreams and is a pleasure to work with them again), Bittersuite (next big thing, mark my words) and introducing Tomson (Development) & Benedict with their first mix for the label. I have played at this space a few times and when it goes off it really goes off.
